Mrs. Barbara Alice Vandiver Phillips, 74 of Kotal Circle, Canon, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Regional Medical Center, Gainesville.

Born on October 7, 1939 in Chatsworth GA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Vandiver and Nellie John Roe Vandiver Sabatine.Mrs. Phillips was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Hartwell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include her husband: Gary L. Phillips; a daughter: Jean Fisher & her husband Ricky of Hartwell; two sons: John Wieller & his wife Pamela of Bowersville and Robert Wieller of Hartwell; a step-son: Michael Phillips of Norfolk VA; a sister: Martha "Junie" Emmons of Canon; nine grandchildren: Kelly Fisher, Kimberly Fisher, Paul Fisher, Richard Tesar, Tiffani Tesar, Jorden Wieller, Sarah Lane Wieller, Zach Phillips and Sarah Phillips; four great-grandchildren: Deontay Mattox, Trinati Pinkston, Kaiden Fisher and Summer Tesar.Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter: Jane Tesar

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hartwell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.The family will receive friends during and after the memorial service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defray Medical expenses.
