Barbara Ruth Sewell, 63, formerly of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.
Born on September 18, 1953 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Sewell and Marjorie Bradley Sewell. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lavonia.
Survivors include: uncles, aunts and cousins.Miss Sewell was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Johnny Sewell.
Agraveside memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lavonia.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
