Barbara Lynn Rice Thompson, age 73, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at her home.

Born March 29, 1951, in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Imogene York Rice. She retired from C & P Phone Company, where she worked as a service representative.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Thompson; sons, Thomas Thompson (Amy) and Robert Thompson(Crimson Hartley); daughters, Brittany Thompson and Victoria Thompson; brothers, Gary Rice (Karen) and Greg Rice (Alison); grandchildren, Dakota Thompson (Mallory) and Isaiah Thompson; and great grandson, Beren Thompson.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the funeral home chapel. Barbara was cremated in accordance with her request.
