Mrs. Artis Hembree "Bell" Ethridge, 94, of Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Hart Care Center, Hartwell.

Born February 28, 1913 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Joe Hembree and Lovie Parker Hembree.She was retired from Bellcraft Mfg and Gips Mfg as a Seamstress.She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church, Young at Heart, and Sunday School.

She is survived by:Sons, Doyle Ethridge of Hartwell, GA, Loyde Ethridge of Hartwell, GA, Billy Ethridge of Hartwell, GA and Jimmy Ethridge of Panama City, FL; Daughters, Lila Thomas of Central, SC; Ruth Martin of Hartwell, GA and Joyce Wright of Hartwell, GA; Brother, Junior Hembree of High Point, NC; Sisters, Hazel McLane of Hartwell, GA and Lowell Madden of Avondale, NC; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren; and Special family friend, Bonnie Granville.She is preceded in death by husband, Joe Harley Ethridge; Brother, Parker Hembree; Two sisters, Mary Lou Kay and Louise Ankerich; and Two grandchildren, Danny Bradley and Darin Martin.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Steve Ethridge and Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
