Mr. Ben S. Granville, 87, of Hartwell, formerly of Harrisburg NC, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at his home.
Born on October 23, 1927 in Greenville SC, he was the son of the late Ruth Perry Basinger.He was retired from AT&T and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, Charlotte NC.Mr. Granville was a WW II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include two daughters: Bonnie Granville of Hartwell GA and Sherri G. Irvin of Marshville NC; two grandchildren: Carla I. King & Chris and Brandi I. Mason & Mike and one great-grandchild: Braylin Mason also survives.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury NC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
