Mr. Benjamin Lee "Ben" Knighton, 38, of highland Ave, Hartwell, died Thursday, February 20.

Born on February 12, 1976 in Memphis TN, he was the son of Gary Lynn Knighton and Susan Ann Pittman Knighton. He was employed at Shoney's of Lavonia.

Survivors include his parents, Gary & Susan Knighton; a brother, Bill Knighton of Hartwell and a maternal grandmother, Lydia Pittman of Bartlett TN.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon after the service.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
