Mrs. Beth Bearden Buchanan, 54, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Born on December 6, 1966 in Carrollton GA, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Eugene Bearden and Eunice Jones Bearden Leamon.Mrs. Buchanan was formerly co-owner of Buchanan Express, currently co-owner of The Storage Box and a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She also volunteered at Hartwell Health and Rehab for many years.

Survivors include her husband: Jeff Buchanan; one son: Brad Buchanan of Hartwell; two daughters: Lauren Luker of Hartwell, Brooke Rousey (Johnathan) of Royston; one brother: Johnny Bearden of Carrollton GA; two sisters: Rhonda Haynes (Von), Denean Hill (Todd) all of Bremen GA; four grandchildren: Cayson, McKenzie, Hunter and Waylon.Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beth Buchanan will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry Meeks and Mr. Slate Bauknight officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
