Betsy Joanne Dyck, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, one day before her fourth birthday.

She was born July 12, 2018, in Athens the daughter of Matt and Kelli Dyck. She loved to swing under the big oak tree and spent many hours in the sandbox with her brothers. She was thrilled to get a little sister, in March. Betsy loved to stand next to mommy and help make cookies and even had her own small jar of chocolate chips.

Left with broken hearts and determined to meet her in heaven are her parents: Matt and Kelli Dyck; brothers: Jacob and Bennie; and little sister: Clara. Also grieving her departure are her grandparents: Loren and Merrilee Koehn and Carl and Becky Dyck; and many special aunts, uncles, and so many cousins.

The funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church with Ministers Doug Benner, Grant Unruh, and Doug Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the North Georgia Mennonite Church Cemetery. Her uncles, Jeremy Koehn, Zachary Koehn, Michael Koehn, Joseph Dyck, and Michael Dyck served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Giesbrecht, Arlen Penner, and Nolan Koehn. The family received friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the North Georgia Mennonite Church
