Mrs. Betty F. Blessing, 75, of Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at Hart Care Center.

Born on September 24, 1943, in Marietta GA, she was the daughter of the late Noah S. Frey and Betty Louise Roper Frey.Mrs. Blessing was a retired poultry farmer.

Survivors include her husband: Michael Blessing Sr; four sons: John Sargent, Kim Sargent, Michael Blessing Jr, Chuck Blessing; three daughters: April Ramsey, Marie Ramsey, Bridget Sargent; one sister: Sheila Middleton; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Mrs. Blessing was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Mark JR Ramsey and Michael Spivey.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Blessing will be held Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Cory Pulliam officiating.Burial will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
