Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jean Knight Collins, 84, of Fairview Ave, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Hart Care Center.
Born on January 3, 1931 in Atlanta GA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Otherian Knight and Cora Catherine Deleshaw Knight.
Survivors include three daughters: Teresa Louise Cobb of Martin GA, Wanda Sue Bowman of Hartwell and Juanita Eloise Harris of McDonough GA; two sons: Arthur William Collins Jr. of McDonough GA and Gary Joe Collins of Lugoff SC; twenty-three grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Anne Woodall Christenson and two sons: Barry Gene Collins and Bruce Wayne Collins.
Graveside services will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral home of Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of the Hart Care Center, 261 Fairview Ave, Hartwell GA 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
