Mrs. Betty Hubbard Crump, 85, of 1976 Elberton Hwy, Hartwell, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born on September 25, 1924 in Hart Co. GA, She was the daughter of the late O.Z. Hubbard and Mamie Chastain Hubbard.She was one of the former co-owners of the Rebel Drive-In, Royston and Crump's Lakeside of Hartwell.She was a retired Nurses Aide from Hart Co. Hospital and Cobb Memorial Hospital.She was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church and the Fidelis-Eliza Cobb SS Class.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Carson and her husband Ken of Athens; son, Richard Crump and his wife Angie of Hartwell; four granddaughters, Michelle Cole and her husband Duane, Christy Murray and her husband Shannon, Ashley Crump and Valerie Crump; a great-grandson, Brady Murray; two brothers, George Hubbard and William Hubbard both of Hartwell also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Doyle Crump; a sister, Inez Hubbard and two brothers, O M. Hubbard and Laymon Hubbard.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. James Sexton officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday Evening.The family is at their respective homes.
