Mrs. Betty Van Dyke Gordon, 101, of Taylors SC passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.

Born on December 1, 1920 in Foxtown PA, she was the daughter of the late Vernon C. and Pearl Felgar Van Dyke. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lee Road United Methodist Church in Taylors SC.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law: Joanne Gordon of Hartwell; daughter: Patricia Gordon of Taylors SC; four grandchildren: Michael A. Gordon II, William A. Gordon, Trischie Williams, Erin Gordon; seven great grandchildren: Ayla Gordon, Hunter Gordon, Dylan Gordon, Greer Ann Gordon, Aidan Gordon, Logan Gordon, Mica Pearl Williams and one great-great grandson: Ezra Williams. Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband: William U. Gordon and one son: Michael A. Gordon.

Mrs. Gordon's wishes were to not have a formal service, music or viewing.She "just wants to finally rest next to her husband, Bill".

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
