Ms. Betty Lou Rose, age 62, of Toccoa, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born May 4, 1956, in Bryson City, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hardy Rose and Eloise (Tuck) Pace. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Renay and Dwight Burton of Toccoa; daughter: Sabrina Owens of Toccoa; sister: Ulayla Odom; grandchildren: Cutlass & Janice Burton, Steven & Amanda Burton, Dalton Burton, Stormy & Anthony Reed, Katherine Rose & Shaun, and Denis Owens; and nine great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. John Forbes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the service. Ms. Rose will be cremated in accordance with her request.
