Mrs. Betty Ann (Samples) Standridge, 66, of Carnesville passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.
Born, August 14, 1951, in Duluth, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva Jeanette (Hunter) Samples.
She is survived by her husband: David H. Standridge; son: David W. "Bubba" Standridge; daughter: Rhonda Mathis; brother: Marvin Samples; sisters: Jackie Butler and Sue Hembrick; grandchildren: Alicia Mathis, Heather Love, Melanie Mathis, Kiera Grace Standridge; and 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Mrs. Standridge was cremated in accordance with her request.
