Betty Jo Taylor, age 75, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at her home.

Born June 28, 1950, in Norfolk, VA. She was the daughter of the late Montague and Neva Cooper. Betty Jo was a child Daycare Caregiver. She loved her grandbabies, gardening and lake and beach activities.

She is survived by her husband: Jesse Carlton Taylor; daughters: Cindy K. Gailey & her husband Tim and Sandy Andrews; granddaughter: Courtney Pitsos & her husband Michael; great grandchildren: Luke Taylor Pitsos, Henry Michael Pitsos and Camille Brooke Pitsos; and sister: Joan Carlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Jesse Alan Andrews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private burial service will be held at Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery.
