Mrs. Betty Mae Toombs Tupper, 72, of Point Road, Westminster, SC, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Oconee Memorial Hospital, Seneca, SC.
Born on February 27, 1943,Mrs. Tupper was a retired bookkeeper for Hydraulic Equipment Co. She was of the Protestant Faith and a member of the Compassionate Friends and MADD.
Survivors include her son: Alan Tupper of Westminster, SC; one daughter: Nikki Burdette of Westminster, SC; four grandchildren: Brittany Druckemiller, Tyler Atkinson, Kimberly Hartmann and Alanis Tupper; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Toombs and Jack Toombs.Mrs. Tupper was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Russell Warren Tupper; one daughter: Kim Tupper and one grandson: Nathan Atkinson.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, November 11, 2015, 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Brandon Nixon officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00 prior to the service.Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
