Mrs. Betty Ann Vickery Crump, 91, of Elberton Hwy, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Born on June 3, 1930 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Ira C. Vickery and Lillie Mae Adams Vickery.She was a seamstress for many years at Bellcraft Mfg. Company and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her son: James Stewart Crump of Hartwell; four sisters: Inez V. Rice of Elberton GA, Amanda V. Cantrell of Demorest GA, Carol V. Moon and Joyce V. Dickerson both of Hartwell; two brothers: Ronald Vickery of Anderson SC and Donald Vickery of Hartwell; several nieces and nephews also survive.Mrs. Crump was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Alton Crump;four sisters: Louise V. Donaldson, Sara V. Spears, Dot V. Smith and Eleanor V. Sanders and three brothers: Jerry Vickery, Ralph Vickery and Eugene Vickery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Ann Crump and a memorial service remembering the life of her husband, Alton Crump, will be Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Kimberly officiating.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
