Mrs. Beverly Ann Driver Bowen, 85, of Bowen Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Hart Care Center.

Born in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Otis Caston Driver and Pauline Whitman Driver.Mrs. Bowen was retired security guard for several different locations including Portman Marina, and she sold Avon for several years. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Dixie Bowers (Wayne) and Twyler Acreman (Ricky), all of Hartwell; two brothers: Ottis Driver and George Driver, both of Iva, SC; three grandchildren: Rickey Bowers, Wade Acreman and Wayne Acreman; and six great grandchildren: Aaron, Tara, Sophie, Justin, Abigail, and Isabella.Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Roy Lee Bowen; two brothers: Garland Driver and Jackie Driver; and two sisters: Joyce Moore and Sarah Shaw.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Bowen will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Don Nester officiating.Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
