IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Ann
Busha
March 5, 1947 – December 25, 2024
Beverly Ann Busha, age 77, of Hartwell passed away on December 25, 2024 at Hartwell Health and Rehab in Hartwell, GA.
Beverly was born on March 5, 1947, in Franklin County, Ga where she lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Lula Mae Weaver Busha. She was a member of Double Branches Baptist Church where she had attended for most of her life and had gotten quite a few perfect attendance awards for Sunday school attendance. Beverly was so proud to go to work at the Franklin/Hart County Training Center. She would look forward to her paycheck each week. She loved Elvis, country music, and dolls! Beverly had quite a collection of dolls and would become especially excited while opening her newest Cabbage Patch Kid. Her bedroom was decorated with these dolls, and she knew if her nieces had been playing with them because each doll had a special place. She continued this collection at Hartwell Health and Rehab, and they brought her so much joy. Beverly lived at home with her parents, and she loved going out to eat with family and friends. She knew exactly how to sweet talk someone into taking her to Burger King or Pizza Hut. Even after she went to Hartwell Health and Rehab, she continued sweet talking to get candy, Cokes, chips, or other snacks. Her family and friends were most eager to please her! Beverly very seldom missed a birthday. She knew when everyone's birthday was and reminded family members often, even if they were trying to forget. The nieces and great nieces were so excited when they would open up a birthday card from Beverly with $1 inside. Beverly's smile and laugh would light up a room. She had the kindest spirit, and this is what she will be remembered for.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Imogene Busha Price and Terry Price. Survivors include a brother, Tony Busha of Canon, two nieces Candace Price of Toccoa, and Chanda Foster (Mark) of Lavonia. Three great nieces Shelby, Amelia, and Lydia Cane. Very special friend Diane Bailey and nephew George Moon of Lavonia.
The funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
The family would like to thank Hartwell Health and Rehab for taking such good care of Beverly over the past few years. Thank you for loving on her and spoiling her for all these years. We are truly grateful.
