Mrs. Beverly McGee Vaughn, age 75, of Ridgeview Road, Bowersville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home.
Born November 18, 1943 in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mildred Bailey McGee. She retired from the Georgia Department of Health and was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Vaughn; sons & daughters-in-law: Michael James Vaughn & Elizabeth and Kevin Howard Vaughn & Wendi; grandchildren: Hunter Vaughn, Tanner Vaughn, Payton Vaughn, Nyna Daniels, Jonathan Daniels and Luke Michael Vaughn; and brother: Kermit McGee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother: Howard McGee, Jr.
The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Forbes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the service hour. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James McGee, David McGee, Kelly McGee, Carey Craft, Jeremy Vaughn and Randall Ayers.
