William Crawford Haley, 84, of Fripp Island, SC died suddenly at his home on April 19, 2016.
Born in Lavonia, GA on May 7, 1931, the son of Alton and Ruby Nell Haley attended Lavonia schools. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Exxon Company, USA in 1984 to form a consulting firm. On Fripp Island, Bill was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department and active in men's golf. In later years he was an avid traveler.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Keese Haley and his daughter, Elizabeth Haley.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Lavonia City Burgess Cemetery with Rev. Randall Massengill officiating.
