Mr. William T. "Bill" Marett Jr, 74, of Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Brown Health & Rehab.

Born on May 27, 1945 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son Doris Madden Marett and the late William T. Marett, Sr.Mr. Marett was retired from Glen Raven and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother: Doris Marett of Hartwell; two sons: Tommy Marett (Jolynn) of Hartwell, Eddie Marett and fiancé Sara Uhler of Canon; one daughter: Angela Weaver (Donald) of Hartwell; one brother: Robert "Bob" Marett of Woodstock; one sister: Nancy M. Saylors (Benson) of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Cole Marett and Jordan Weaver.Mr. Marett was preceded in death by his father: William T. Marett, Sr and his wife: Jeannette Sanders Marett.

Mr. Marett is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.Other times the family will be at the home of Angela and Donald Weaver, 20 Country Lane, Hartwell, GA 30643.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Steve Patton officiating.Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.
