Obituary
Mr. William "Bill" O'Barr, age 61, of Lavonia, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born May 14, 1953, in West Palm Beach, FL, he was the son of Marie (Walden) O'Barr and the late George Robert O'Barr. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Navy. Mr. O'Barr was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Christopher and Monica O'Barr; grandson: Andrew Chance O'Barr; and brother: Robert "Bob" O'Barr.
It was Mr. O'Barr's wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 743 Spring St NE, Gainesville, GA 30501.
