Mr. Arthur William "Bill" White, age 74, of Canon, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
Born September 28, 1937, in Hayward, WI, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret Ann (Kempen) White. He owned and operated Bill White Used Cars.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy Marie (Vanden-Boogart) White; son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Linda White of Olin, IA; daughter: Sandy White Sindelar of Dysart, IA; step-daughter: Carrie Miller of Thomasville; brother: Lester White of Randleman, NC; sister: Deanna Raiter of Sartell, MN; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Susan Marie White.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Lavonia City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church's Food Bank.
