Mr. R. K. "Bob" Lunceford, 75, of Highland Ridge Dr., Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.

Born on December 5, 1941, in Washington, GA, he was the son of the late Luther Sanders Lunceford and Ethel Justine Dickins Lunceford.Mr. Lunceford was retired from Ray's TV as a salesman/serviceman for 38 years and attended Price Chapel Church of God. He also was a member and former president of the Savannah Club.

Survivors include his wife: Ann Whitsel Lunceford; two sons: Stan Lunceford of Hartwell, Dwayne Lunceford of Elberton; one brother: Gene Lunceford of Elberton; one sister: Pat Cobo of Newnan, GA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Lunceford was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Lanier, Mell, Edward, Bonnie and Henry Lunceford.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.The family is at the home.
