Mr. Bob H. Roe, age 80, of 8709 Schaefer St., Bowersville, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at his home.

Born on September 6, 1927 in Hart County GA, he was the son of the late Levis Roe and Willie Weaver Roe.He was a retired from Trogdon Furniture Co., Toccoa GA and was currently as a Bowersville City Councilman.Mr. Roe was a member of the Bowersville Baptist Church, former deacon, church clerk & secretary.

Survivors include his daughter: Barbara Carlton and her husband Wade of Canon; two grandchildren: Ashley and Andrew Carlton; a brother: Bill Roe of Bowersville and a sister: Montine Anderson of Snellville also survives.He was preceded in death by his wife: Louise Welborn Roe; a brother: Ed Roe and a sister: Mildred Jones.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Connie Ivester officiating.Burial will be in the Bowersville City Cemetery
