Mrs. Bobbie Ann Slater Temples, 75, of 37 Gloria Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born July 18, 1933 in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late J.O. Slater and Viola Slater James.She was a retired Bus Driver with 20 years of service from Dekalb County School System.She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Couples 2 Sunday School Class.

She is survived by:Sons, Ricky Temples and his wife, Lana of Dallas, GA and Barry Temples and his wife Micki of Dunwoody, GA; Daughters, Traci Temples Ricks and her husband Artis of Hartwell, GA and Renee` Davis and her husband Brad of Woodland, AL; Brothers, Thomas Slater of Hartwell, GA and Harold Slater of Hickory, NC; Sisters, Jerlene Delvechio of Hickory, NC, Jeanette Frye of Hickory, NC, Louise Eckard of Hickory, NC and Minnie Steele of Hickory, NC; Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Floyd "Lucius" Temples.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church.Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. Bill Davidson will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund, 1543 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, GA30643
