Rev. Bobby Robert Brown, 74, of Margaret Circle, Canon, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home.
Born on March 6, 1945 in Leicester, NC, he was the son of the late Denver Brown and Flossie Edwards Brown.Rev. Brown was a self-employed truck driver and of the Holiness Faith.His home was a house of prayer. He also was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam war.
Survivors include his wife: Margaret Ann Shelton Brown; three sons: Ronnie Hensley (Linda) of Canon, Darren Brown of Asheville, NC, Keith Hensley (Anita) of Woodfin, NC; two daughters: Tanya Brewer (Jason) of Canon, Wanda Hart (Chris) of Royston; one brother: Bill Brown of Leicester, NC; one sister: June Brown of Ashville, NC; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Rev. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Sandra Hensley and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service celebrating Bobby's life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the home on Margaret Circle, Canon, GA with Rev. Jeff Steinel and Rev. Jimmy Davis officiating.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
