Mr. Bobby David Christian, 58, of 1715 Deer Run Lane, Canon, GA, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at his home.
Born August 30, 1948 in Clarke County, GA, he was the son of the late Howard Christian and Ruby Scoggins Christian.He was retired from Tenneco as a Maintenance Technician.He was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
His survivors include:Wife, Linda Shaw Christian of the home; Son, Chad Christian of Canon, GA; Daughter, Raquel Christian of Toccoa, GA; Two brothers, Kenneth Christian of Greer, SC and Boyce Christian of Hartwell, GA; Two sisters, Hazel Giede of Lavonia, GA and Myrtle Porter of Toccoa, GA, and one grandchild, Justin Ethridge.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.Rev. Joe Black will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 prior to the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
