Mr. Bobby Joe Kirkum, 36, of 176 Crumps Rd., Hartwell, died Thursday, November 8 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.
Born on May 23, 1971 in New York, he was the son of Stanley Latty and Frances Taylor.He was a truck driver for Phillips Recovery-Ace Environmental, Pelzer SC and of the Baptist faith.He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife: Brendala Trotter Kirkum of the home; a son: Michael Kirkum of the home; a daughter: Heather Kirkum of Clarksville GA; a brother: Mark Latty of Hartwell also survives.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Perry Smith officiating.Burial will be in the Bio Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to help defray funeral and family expenses to any Bank of America location c/o Bobby Joe Kirkum account.
