Mr. Bobby Joe Phillips, 67, of Liberty Church Road, Dewy Rose GA, died Monday, December 9 at Elbert Memorial Hospital, Elberton.

Born on November 29, 1946 in Greenville SC, he was the son of the late Teddy Phillips and Nina Faye Royston Phillips.Mr. Phillips was a farmer.

Survivors include two brothers: Jimmy (Williette) Phillips of Anderson SC and William (Andrea) Phillips of Dewy Rose; a sister: Linda (Donnie) Bailey of Dewy Rose also survives.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
