Obituary
Mr. Bobby J. Scoggins, age 46 of 5525 Bowman Highway, Hartwell, Ga., died Thursday, May 15, 2008 atSt. Mary' Hospice House.
Born June 27, 1961 in Elbert County, he was the son of the late John Scoggins. He was a construction worker with Jerico Construction and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
He is survived by: Mother, Kitty Yarboro Scoggins of Hartwell, Ga., wife, Sandra Norris Scoggins of the home, step-sons, Jason Seawright and his wife Jessica of Hartwell, Ga., and Kevin Seawright of Hartwell, Ga., brothers, John "Buck" Scoggins of Hartwell, Ga., and Ronnie Scoggins of Carlton, Ga., grandchildren, Kylie and Makenna Seawright. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Donnie Scoggins.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will be at the the home, 5525 Bowman Highway, Hartwell, Ga.
