Mr. Bonner Sewell Brown, 77, of 2565 Clay Brown Rd, Hartwell GA, died Saturday, May 2 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on March 26, 1932 in Hart Co. GA, he was the son of the late Clay L. Brown and Azalee (Brown) Brown.He was retired owner-operator of Refrigerated Transport of Atlanta.He was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church, Billy Brown SS Class and the Men's Club.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Elizabeth Poole of Hartwell; a brother, Jerrold Brown and his wife Patsy of Griffin; a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Brown of Hartwell and several nieces & nephews also survive.He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, LaRose Medlin and four brothers, C L Brown Jr, Kendall Brown, Herman Brown and Berry Joe Brown.
Funeral services will Monday, May 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Donald Hazelgrove and Rev. Doug Brown officiating.Burial will be in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at the home of Mary Elizabeth Poole, 55 Glenn St, Hartwell.Memorials may be made to the Bethesda United Methodist Church Roof Fund, 352 Bethesda Church Rd, Hartwell, GA30643.
