Mrs. Brenda Joyce Crocker Alexander, 75, of Cedar Creek Circle, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at her home.

Born on July 23, 1946 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Crocker and Beatrice Herring Crocker Casper.Mrs. Alexander was a retired RN, working at AnMed Health Medical Center for over 40 years. She always loved animals and helping people. She was also a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Billy Ray Alexander of Hartwell; son: Wesley S. Alexander of Hartwell; daughter-in-law: Sherry Evans Alexander of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Brandon & Jennifer Alexander, both of Hartwell; two great grandchildren: Adam & Camden, both of Hartwell; a sister-in-law: Brenda Crocker of Hartwell; and two nieces: Monica O'Barr (Chris) and Michelle Bailey (Ken) both of Hartwell.Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Roger Crocker.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

Funeral services for Mr. Brenda Alexander will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. James Sexton officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
