Ms. Brenda Carol (Bond) Drake, age 55, of Baker Street, Lavonia, GA, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.
Born November 29, 1962, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late: Clyde James Bond and Martha Jean (Drake) Bond. She attended the Lavonia Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Tasha & David Clark; son: Lee Edwards; former husband: Anthony Edwards; grandchildren: Alyssa Clark and Jordan Clark; sisters: Kathy Reed and Angie Parker; and brothers: Tim Bond and Tony Bond.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Fresh Fire Worship Center, 221 Pottery Factory Drive, Commerce, GA 30529. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia to defray funeral expenses.
