Brenda Marie Thompson Lindeland, age 75, of Martin passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday August 13, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Brenda was born September 4, 1948, in Gwinnett County, Ga, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Louise Thompson. She married her devoted husband of 55 years in January of 1969 and raised 4 children while taking on the task of being a military wife.

Brenda was a devoted member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community. She loved crossword puzzles and getting her fingernails painted, and always was ready to crochet a baby blanket for one of her 16 great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Toby A Lindeland, her loving children:  Angelia, Michelle, TJ, and Michael, her 11 grandchildren: James, Josh, Jordan, Ciara, Cody, Parker, Sydney, Courtney, Katelyn, Meredith, and Joseph, her 14 great grandchildren: Brantley, Weston, Allie,  Matthew, Lincoln, Nash, Gavin, Koraline, Pressley, Waylon, Evelyn, Clara, Emmett, with 2 newborns a girl and a boy on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson: Lochlann.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
