Mrs. Brenda Fay Adams Outz, 66, of 101 Joe Bailey Road, Hartwell, GA, wife of Mr. Homer Outz, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Hart County Hospital.

Born October 11, 1942 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Tate Adams and Bertha Rhodes Adams.After 43 years of service, she retired from Hart County Hospital as an L.P.N.She was a member of Flat Shoal Baptist Church.

Survivors include:Husband, Homer R. Outz of the home; Son, Tommy Outz of Hartwell, GA; Daughter, Lynn Herring and her husband Tim of Hartwell, GA; Brothers, William L. Adams and Woodrow Adams, both of Elberton, GA; Sisters, Shelby Gaines of Elberton, GA and Virginia Griffin of W. Columbia, SC; Five grandchildren, Tyler Herring, Adam Herring, Joshua Herring, Camden Herring and Lindsey Herring also survives. She is preceded in death by Parents; Brother, James Adams and a Sister, Fannie Elizabeth Adams.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Mike Fugate and Rev. J.B. Kitts will officiate.Burial will be in the Flat Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating.
