Mrs. Brenda Jean Atkinson Shiflet, 68, of Royston, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born on September 26, 1954 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Harold Atkinson and Mary Etta Evans Atkinson. Mrs. Shiflet was a homemaker and a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Niles Shiflet of Royston; daughter: Misty Sutton & Clayton of Carnesville; and two grandchildren: Quinton and Zachary Sutton. Mrs. Shiflet is preceded in death by her parents and her son: Ethan Shiflet.

No formal services for Mrs. Brenda Shiflet are planned at this time.
