Brent Floyd Vickery was born March 7, 1968 at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina. He was the son of Bill Floyd and Janice Moorhead Vickery. He graduated from Hart County High School with honors, the University of Georgia, and Johnson Wells Culinary School in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia.

Brent was a chef and assistant manager of the bakery at Publix in Bluffton, South Carolina. He worked at several Publix bakeries in the Bluffton and Hilton Head areas. He did his internship at Charleston Place Hotel in fine dining.

Brent passed away Tuesday morning, June 7, 2022 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son: Ethan Vickery of the home; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Forbes officiating. Burial will follow in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The family will receive friend at the church Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
