Mr. Frank Brian Thurmond, 43, of West Shore Drive, Newnan GA, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Piedmont-Newnan Hospital, Newnan.

Born on April 22, 1978 in Augusta GA, he was the son of Charles Frank Thurmond and Lynn Bullock Thurmond. Brian was a production manager for Elite Comfort Solutions, and formerly employed by Tenneco of Hartwell

Survivors include his wife: Julie Vickery Thurmond; father: Charles Thurmond of Hartwell; mother: Lynn Thurmond of Lincolnton GA; a son: Billy Bentley of Connecticut; five daughters: Felicia Thurmond and Trinity Thurmond both of Oklahoma, Brittany Cothran (Brad) of Canon GA, Katie Christian (Joey) of Elberton GA and Elizabeth Sanders (Justin) of Canon GA; a sister: Brandy Tischofer (Russell) of Connecticut; five grandchildren: Kayleigh Fleeman, Case Cothran, Kaytryn Christian, Cole Cothran and A.J. Temples

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home of Brad and Brittany Cothran, 2089 Redwine Church Road, Canon.

Funeral services for Mr. Brian Thurmond will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Keith Shorter officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
