Brittney Nicole Ellard Lewis, age 22, of Lavonia, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on December 28, 2002, in Stephens County, she was the daughter of Chris Ellard and Teresa Willingham, and the adoptive daughter of Laurie Lewis.

Brittney attended Franklin County High School and later worked at Zaxby's in Lavonia. She was deeply committed to her role as a homemaker and mother, dedicating her life to nurturing her daughter.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Shiloh Covington; her sisters, Michelle Lewis and Abigail Pilgrim; grandparents, Robert Stephens, Judy Ellard, Gilbert Ellard, and Pam Deaton; and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. While flowers are optional, donations to help with expenses are warmly appreciated.
