Mr. Burt Cleveland Risner, 77, of 3501 Hwy 81 N, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.

Born July 11, 1930 in Dekalb County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Tugaloo Harvey Risner and Clara Mackey Risner.He was a Graduate of Erskine University and he retired from Ryobi of Anderson, as a Production Supervisor.He was a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church, Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge # 690 and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by:Son, Alex B. Risner of Anderson, SC; Daughter, Reeta R. Griffin of Anderson, SC; and two grandchildren, Thomas Griffin and Michael Griffin.He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Flora Rowland Risner; Brothers, Lowell Risner, Herndon Risner and Leon Risner; Sisters, Yona Porfido and Marene Powell.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.Rev. Donald L. Hazelgrave will officiate.The family will receive friends at the church following the service.The family is at their respective homes.
