Ms. Callye Lee Fortson Harden, 82,of 123 River Lake Dr., Woodstock, Ga., died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Northside Hospital, Atlanta.
Born February 19, 1924 in Barrow County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lee Anderson Fortson and Callye Campbell Fortson.She was a graduate of the University of Georgia in Secretarial Sciences.She was a retired Federal employee from the National Parks Services.She was a member of 2nd Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Alpha Gamma Delta Society, Atlanta Historical Society, High Museum of Art, a volunteer at Northside Hospital and the Fox Theater and Swan House.
Her survivors include:Son, Lee H. Harden of Woodstock, GA; Daughter, Lynda Harden Bryant of Ila, Ga; and Grandchildren, Patrick Bryant, Jessica Harden, and Emilee Harden.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.Dr. Steve Williams will officiate.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Charles and Aurelia Campbell, 840 E. Franklin St., Hartwell, Ga.
