Mr.Johnny Carl Thomas, 53, of Lewis Drive, Lavonia, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born on September 13, 1962 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Harold Lee Thomas Sr and Nezzie Bowman Thomas.Mr. Thomas was a self-employed electronic repairman and of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his wife: Ila Norton Thomas; one daughter: Melanie Sanders and her husband Billy of Hartwell; three grandchildren; Caitlyn Sanders, Mason Sanders, and Chase Sanders; one sister: Pat Oliver of Canon; and one brother: Martin McHan of Blue Ridge, GA.Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Harold Lee Thomas, Jr.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, 11:00 am at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lavonia.

The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defray funeral and medical expenses.
