Mrs. Carol Snow Chitwood, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in El Paso TX.

Born on April 25, 1945 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Snow and Laura Ann McGarity Snow.  Mrs. Chitwood was a machine operator with Southern Umbrella Company and a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include two sons: Brian Chitwood (Laurie) of Cumming GA, Brent Chitwood (Alicia) of El Paso TX; four grandchildren: Julian, Jordan, Jason and Ariana. Mrs. Chitwood is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Lonnie Hermon Chitwood; and one brother: Dan Snow.

Graveside services for Mrs. Carol Chitwood will be Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating.
