Carrie "Carol" Elrod Fulbright, age 73, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home.

Born March 10, 1949, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Max and Rosa Lee Allen Elrod. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School and retired from Wometco Vending. Carol was a member of Gateway Believers Fellowship in Carnesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Mike Elrod, Jimmy Elrod, and Danny Elrod.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Craig & Melissa Fulbright of Carnesville; grandson: Joshua Fulbright; great-granddaughter: MaKenna Hill; brothers: Sammy Elrod (Kathy) of Carnesville and Joel Elrod of Lavonia; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Pastor Adam Veal and Pastor Bill Avant officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Hugh Bryant, Trey Elrod, Stonie Jones, Robert Malcolm, Austin Roane, and Justin Roberts.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at their respective homes.
