Mrs. Carol Lynn Rowland Lewis, 64, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at her daughter's home.

Born on March 22, 1958 in Seneca SC, she was the daughter of the late Billy Jim Rowland and Ruby Nell Craft Rowland. Mrs. Lewis was a senior adult sitter and caregiver for several decades where she was devoted to the persons she cared for, including her husband until his passing. She was of the Baptist faith, and she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Elaine Winn (Jason Holmes) of Hartwell and Mysti Scheuer (Chris) of Watkinsville, GA; two sisters: Shelby Whitman and Vickie Mulkey, both of Anderson; two grandchildren: Destiny Nicole Sharpton (Ben) and Noah Scheuer; and two great grandchildren: Rhett & Rhen Sharpton. Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Sammy Harris Lewis; three brothers: Wayne Rowland, Larry Rowland, and Randall Rowland; and one sister Betty Campbell.

A gathering to celebrate Carol's life will be held Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter Elaine Winn, 575 Center of the World Road, Canon, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Dr, Suite C, Athens, GA 30606
