Mrs. Carolyn Watkins Kirkpatrick, 64, of 2927 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, died Saturday, November 28 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on May 16, 1945 in Gilmer Co. GA, she was the daughter of Vergil Watkins and the late Dolly Eliza Buckner Watkins.She was retired from Scientific Atlanta, member of the Solo Ladies and attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father; a daughter, Lori Sisk and her husband Shane of Hartwell; three sisters, Ruby Hause & husband George of Woodstock, Charlotte Gasaway & husband Thomas of Acworth and Glenda Bates & husband Linuel of Cartersville; three brothers, Ray Watkins, Randall Watkins and Johnny Watkins & wife Kathy all of Canton; three grandchildren, Jake Kirkpatrick, Carolyn Mote and Annie Schaefer; two step-grandchildren, Kane and Avery Sisk; a great-grandchild, Briana Kirkpatrick also survives.She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Lawrence Lester Kirkpatrick and a son Don H. Kirkpatrick.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Family Cemetery with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.The family is at the home.
