Mrs. Carolyn Bowers McClain, age 27, of 220 Arch Parks Road, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 7, 1982 in Charleston, SC and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

She is survived by: Mother, Pam Carnes and her companion Jeff Dobbs of Hartwell, GA; Father, Steve Bowers and his wife Wanda of Anderson, SC; Daughter, Katelyn McClain of the home; Brother, Christopher Bowers and his wife Amanda of Flagstaff, AZ; Paternal grandparents, Farris and Christine Bowers of Hartwell, GA; Maternal grandparents, Betty Stone of Hartwell, GA and the late Carey Stone and Marvin and Wanda Carnes of Hampton, GA.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Joe Black and Rev. Scott Mize will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.The family is at the home of Mrs. Betty Stone, 391 Mt.
