Mrs. Carolyn J. Stovall, 69, of 21 Cardinal Lane, wife of Leslie W. "Pete" Stovall, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Hart County Hospital.

Born on June 20, 1942 in Anderson, SC, she is the daughter of Ernestine Yeargin Jones and the late Jessie Hoyt Jones.She was a homemaker and a member of the Starr Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Stovall of Anderson, SC; one son, Wayne Stovall and his wife, Connie of Cumming, GA; one brother, Herbert Jones of Anderson, SC; one sister, Pat Brown of Anderson, SC; and two grandchildren: Alex Stovall and Austin Stovall.Mrs. Stovall was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Leland Pitts officiating.Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday.The family is at the home of Wayne Stovall, 100 Cardinal Lane, Hartwell, GA.
